Book an upgrade award online or at the check-in counter
You can book an upgrade award conveniently online with Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines.
Alternatively, you can book directly at the check-in counter. Please note that not all airlines offer immediate upgrades at the airport.

Click on “Book upgrade now”.
Select a flight that can be upgraded under “My bookings”.1
Click on “Upgrade”.
Choose whether you wish to redeem miles or an eVoucher for your upgrade.
Upgrades are only available on flights with the airline partners specified. This must be a flight number from the operating airline.
Here’s how it works directly at the check-in counter
Go to your airline’s check-in counter to check which upgrade is available for your flight.
To do this, present your Miles & More service card and have your Miles & More PIN ready to hand.
Book your upgrade, and choose whether you wish to redeem miles or an eVoucher for this.
If you cannot book an upgrade award with your preferred airline online, please contact your local Miles & More Service Team.
Changes affecting upgrade awards:
From 15 January 2024, the standard award amounts for the Middle Eastern region will apply to upgrade bookings (with award miles or eVouchers) made by Miles & More members resident in Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria or Tunisia whose journey begins or ends in their country of residence.
