Extra Benefits: additional benefits for status customers
Alongside the benefits you enjoy as a status customer, you’ll also get additional benefits when you achieve the “Extra Benefits”. These are awarded automatically when you earn a specific number of Qualifying Points or HON Circle Points in a calendar year. As soon as you receive an Extra Benefit, you will be notified under the status in your Miles & More account.
Extra Benefits for Frequent Travellers

Status Events: a special extra for frequent flyers
Status customers who have already earned over 10,000 Qualifying Points towards Lifetime status will also have access to exclusive events that can be booked using miles.
Frequent questions
How long will the Miles & More select benefits I’ve earned still be available?
Miles & More Selections will no longer be offered in the new status programme. Miles & More Selections is being replaced by Extra Benefits. You’ll automatically get Extra Benefits when you achieve a specific number of Qualifying Points or HON Circle Points in a calendar year.
Of course, you will still be able to redeem to any select benefits earned by 31.12.2023 in early 2024. They will remain valid until the respective expiry date. Please note that the benefit selection options shown under your status on miles-and-more.com will not be available again until mid January 2024 while we make technical changes.
What will happen to the Senator Premium Award?
The Senator Premium Award will be discontinued.
How do I book exclusive Status Events in the future?
Status customers who have already earned more than 10,000 Qualifying Points towards Lifetime status will have access to exclusive Status Events.
