Get your miles and Points credited retroactively

With Miles & More, it’s easy to get miles and Points credited to you retroactively for up to 6 months by submitting a credit request‭. Select the airline, hotel, car rental partner, service provider or partner shop, and request the credit online or in the app. The miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account shortly thereafter.

Miles and Points for flights up to 6 months ago will be credited to you retroactively. This applies even if you were not a Miles & More member at the time of your flight. Submit a credit request using the online form on our website or in our app under “More > Credit requests for miles and Points > Flights”, and watch your Miles & More account balance grow.

Keep hold of your boarding pass or booking number.

2.

Log in and open the online form to submit a credit request‭.

3.

Select the airline you used and complete the form.

4.

The miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account once your details have been checked.

Keep hold of your boarding pass or booking number.

2.

Open the app, tap “More” in the main navigation, then select “Mileage and Points credit request > Flights”.

3.

You can either scan the bar code on the boarding pass with your camera or upload a photo of your boarding pass.

4.

The miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account once your details have been checked.

Retroactive mileage credit‭s with partner companies

If you didn’t have your service card number to hand for your online shopping, hotel stay or car rental, no problem. You can also get these miles credited retroactively. Select the relevant Miles & More partner on the online form, submit a credit request, and enjoy the extra miles in your Miles & More account.

Log in and open the online form for a retroactive mileage credit‭.

Select the relevant partner company and complete the form.

Get miles from selected partners added retroactively in our app via photo credit

With selected partners you can get your miles added retroactively via photo credit. You can find this service in our  app in the “More” section under “Mileage credit > Shopping”. The current overview of which partners offer this service is shown there.

It works like this

1.

Keep the receipts for your purchases, hotel bookings or services you have used.

2.

Open the app, tap “More” in the main navigation, then select “Mileage and Points credit request > Shopping”.

3.

Here, you will see the partners with whom you can get your miles added retroactively via photo credit.

4.

Upload and submit a photo of your store receipt.

5.

The miles will be credited to your Miles & More account after the data has been checked

Please note the following when requesting a credit

Please retain your receipts (e.g. boarding pass, ticket, car rental or partner receipt) until the miles and Points have been credited to your account.

Please check your account again before requesting a credit.

Miles and Points that are not automatically credited to your account can be credited to you retroactively within 6 months.

They will only be credited automatically after you have used the service.

For flights, it can take up to 7 days after your flight is completed for the automatic mileage credit to be finalised. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.

With Online Shopping partners and shopping partners, the automatic mileage credit may be made several weeks after your purchase, depending on the partner company (e.g. once the returns period has expired). Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.

With credit card partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally processed a few days after your credit card has been charged. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.

With hotel partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally made up to 14 days after you have checked out. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.

With mobility partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally made up to 14 days after you have used the service. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.

Can my miles and Points be credited retroactively?

With Miles & More, you can have miles and Points credited retroactively up to 6 months after the date of activity. Many partners offer the option of submitting a credit request via the relevant online form. Alternatively, read on to find out more about how to make a request.

How can I book a flight award?

The quickest way to get your flight award ticket is by making an online reservation via the Miles & More website. Here you will find flight connections with almost all our airline partners and can book these straight away.

 

In addition, your Miles & More Service Team will, of course, be happy to help you make a reservation. If you wish to book over the phone, please have your PIN to hand for security purposes.

How long does it take for my miles and Points to appear in my Miles & More account?

The time it takes for miles or Points to be credited depends on whether the credit request is for a flight, hotel stay, car rental booking or purchase. Our partners send us credit requests on a regular basis.

How can I earn miles and Points on flights?

To earn miles and Points on flights with our many airline partners, please quote your Miles & More service card number when booking. You must fly in order to receive the credit. Paying for the trip alone is not sufficient.

 

Certain booking classes do not entitle you to earn miles and Points with Miles & More. We recommend visiting our airline pages before making a reservation.

 

If all conditions are met, your miles and Points will be credited automatically within 7 working days of departure.
