Air Astana: The fascination of Kazakhstan

Air Astana is the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the country's biggest airline. It offers domestic and international service to about 65 destinations within Kazakhstan, as well as points in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It also has code-share agreements with Asiana Airlines, Air France, Air India, Bangkok Airways, Cathay Pacific, Etihad Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. Air Astana operates hubs at Almaty International Airport, Astana International Airport and Atyrau Airport. The airline's fleet – one of the youngest in Europe – includes a mix of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer planes configured with a two-cabin (Business Class and Economy Class) layout.
