The benefits of SAS’ northern route

Travellers from Europe can save a significant amount of time with SAS due to the shorter distance of the northern route. In spite of changing flights in Copenhagen, particularly those to Asia, they turn out to be comparatively short. From Hamburg, the travel time to Beijing, for example, is only ten hours and 35 minutes. The same applies to flights over the North Pole to North America. In this case as well, the total travel time is shorter in comparison to alternative routes, thereby remaining within acceptable limits.
