Frequently asked questions
How can I book a flight award?
The quickest way to get your flight award ticket is by booking online via the Miles More website. Here you will find flight connections with almost all our airline partners which you can book straight away.
In addition, your Miles & More Service Team will, of course, be happy to help you make a reservation. If you wish to book over the phone, please have your PIN to hand for security purposes.

How long are my Miles & More miles valid?
Your miles are valid for 36 months from the date you earn them. Unused miles expire at the end of the following quarter. Here’s how we’ll let you know when your miles are about to expire:
- Your account balance on our website or in our app will show you the miles that will expire at the end of the current and the following quarter.
Subscribe to our Miles & More newsletter to receive a summary of all the miles that are due to expire at the end of the current quarter approximately two months in advance.
For example, you took a flight from Frankfurt to New York on 12.12.2022. These miles will expire after 36 months at the end of the following quarter, i.e. on 31.12.2025.
How long does it take for my miles and Points to appear in my Miles & More account?
The time it takes for miles or Points to be credited depends on whether the credit request is for a flight, a hotel stay, a car rental booking or a purchase. Our partners send us credit requests on a regular basis.
How can I earn miles and Points on flights?
To earn miles and Points on flights with our many airline partners, please provide your Miles & More service card number when booking. The flights must be taken in order to receive the credit. Paying for the trip alone is not sufficient.
Certain booking classes do not entitle you to earn miles and Points with Miles & More. We recommend visiting our airline pages for more information before making a reservation.
If all conditions are met, your miles and Points will be credited automatically within 7 working days of departure.
Can my miles and Points be credited retroactively?
With Miles & More, you can have miles and Points credited retroactively up to 6 months after the date of activity. Many partners offer the option of submitting a credit request via the relevant online form.
