New names for Miles & More flight awards

For greater consistency, we’ve changed the names of some of our award products at Miles & More. These changes relate to our flight awards and help make the programme much clearer.

The key changes at a glance:

• Flight awards are now Award Flights
• The flight award chart is now the Award Flight chart
• Flight award booking is now Award Flight booking
• The 3-region flight award is now the 3-region Award Flight
• The round-the-world flight award is now the World Award Flight
• The children’s flight award is now the Child’s Award Flight
• Travelling with children under the age of 2 is now called the Infants’ Award Flight
• The Companion Award is now the Companion Award Flight
• The Fly Smart award is now the Fly Smart Award Flight
• The Flex Plus fare is now the Flex Plus Award Flight

We’ve also made a distinction between Award Flights and Award Flight Specials:

• Award Flights are standard, unlimited mileage offers, such as the 3-region Award Flight, World Award Flight, Child’s Award Flight, Infants’ Award Flight and Companion Award Flight.
• Award Flight Specials are offers with reduced mileage amounts or time-limited offers, such as Fly Smart Award Flights and mileage bargains.

The new names standardise the use of our flight award products and make it easier for you to plan your trips.
