Your Miles & More service card

The most convenient way for you to use the Miles & More programme is with your service card in our app. This means all the services for earning and redeeming miles are available immediately after you register for the first time.

If you don’t yet have the Miles & More app on your smartphone, you can download it directly in the App Store or from Google Play and earn 500 -M- the first time you log in.

Your Miles & More service card in our app

Your name and service card number are recorded on your service card. It also contains a QR code that will make it easier for you to earn and redeem miles. Simply scan it and your data will be read automatically.

Extremely practical: it is impossible to lose or damage the digital service card in the app and you have it with you at all times.

Our Miles & More service card for everyone with frequent flyer status

Have you reached the mileage threshold for Frequent Traveller, Senator or HON Circle Member status? If so, you will generally receive the relevant physical status card within two weeks.

 

This status card is also available immediately in our app so you can have it with you and use it on your smartphone anytime and anywhere.

As the holder of a Miles & More Credit Card, you will find your 15-digit service card number underneath your name on the credit card. This means that your Lufthansa Miles & More Credit Card is all you need to earn miles with all of our Miles & More partners and to make payments.

What do I do if my Miles & More card has been lost, stolen or damaged?

Your Miles & More service card is available to you digitally in the Miles & More app at all times and with it you can use all the services for earning and redeeming miles as usual. This has the advantage that the card cannot be lost or damaged. Please notify your Miles & More Service Team by telephone if your permanent service card is stolen. This card number will then be blocked and you will receive a new card number for earning miles. The plastic Miles & More service card is now a thing of the past and is no longer being produced.

Earning miles: If you have chosen a DKB Miles & More Credit Card (for members with a German bank account), you can use it to identify yourself as a Miles & More member, even if you don’t wish to pay by credit card.

When will I receive my Miles & More service card after registering for the first time?

To meet today’s demands for digital and environmentally friendly solutions, Miles & More no longer sends out Miles & More service cards for new registrations and replacement card orders. We recommend you use your digital service card in the Miles & More app. This allows you to use all the services for earning and redeeming miles immediately after you register.

When will I get my new service card after I have achieved or renewed a status?

If you’ve exceeded the threshold to achieve Frequent Traveller, Senator or HON Circle status, you can view your new status and your new service card directly in the app or in your profile at miles-and-more.com. Your physical card will automatically be produced and sent at the same time. This takes approximately two weeks within Germany; for delivery to other countries, longer delivery times are to be expected.

 

If you already have a status and have now renewed it, you’ll receive your new card with the extended validity shortly before your current card expires. The new card also appears in the app once the current one expires. Please note that in the case of a renewal, a new card is not issued immediately after you’ve exceeded the threshold.

 

Tip: regardless of whether you’ve achieved or renewed a status, you can access your service card at any time in the Miles & More app.

Everything you need to know about your login data

As soon as you have successfully registered with Miles & More, you can use all our frequent flyer programme services with your valid service card number and the associated personal identification number (PIN). Both numbers also serve as your login for your personal online area.

 

Alongside your service card number and your PIN, you can also log in with your user ID and password. You can  request a new password.

 

If you registered after 29.3.2022, you have the option of logging in with your email address and password.

 

If your Miles & More account is linked to a Lufthansa ID, you can also log in with these details.

If you have forgotten your user ID, please use your service card number and PIN to access your  mileage account  online. You will then find your user ID in your profile.

 

If you have forgotten your login details, you can request them again under Forgotten PIN or Forgotten password.

 

However, please contact your  Miles & More Service Team if you have forgotten your card number and user name.

When do I have to show my Miles & More service card?

You must show your Miles & More card for different purposes in certain places.

 

Earning miles: In order to earn miles, please enter your card number during the flight booking or the order process with a Miles & More partner. Please show your (digital) Miles & More card at the time of payment when shopping in Miles & More partner stores.

 

Redeeming miles: If you wish to redeem miles, you must always identify yourself using your Miles & More card number and your PIN.

 

Status privileges: So that you can also use our lounges, you should carry your status card with you at all times, as you may have to show it at the entrance to the lounge. Staff at security may also wish to see your card to confirm that you can legitimately use the Fast Lane.

 

Tip: you have your service card in der Miles & More app with you at all times - even when travelling. This makes your trips even more relaxed, and you can also earn or redeem miles on the spur of the moment.
